Information You Submit
Terms Entered in Search Tools
A name, place, or other term entered into a search tool is sent to the outside provider that operates that feature. Union County Released Inmates does not keep or log those search terms on its own systems. The provider's own privacy terms govern its receipt and handling of the query.
Email and Contact Messages
When you email or send a contact message, we retain the information needed to read and answer it. We do not share those messages outside the organization unless disclosure is required by law, a valid legal order, or the process needed to respond to your request.
Technical Data Collected
Basic technical information may be recorded when a page loads. This data helps show whether the site works as intended and how visitors move through its public pages. It may include:
- The internet protocol address associated with a request
- Browser name and version
- Device category and operating system
- Pages viewed and approximate time spent on them
- The referring website, when supplied
- Date and time stamps for requests
Cookie Use
Cookies may help measure how visitors use Union County Released Inmates. Most browsers allow cookies to be limited or blocked. Turning them off may cause some site or partner features to work differently.
Reasons We Use Data
Information is used only for ordinary site operations, communications, measurement, and services presented to visitors. Those uses include:
- Keeping pages available and responsive
- Sending search requests to the selected partner service
- Understanding which Union County and New Mexico resource pages help visitors
- Finding errors, abuse, and technical faults
- Displaying advertising that may reflect visitor interests
Privacy Beyond This Site
Links may lead to VMDC, Sheriff Curtis Skaggs's Union County office, New Mexico courts, NMCD, federal locators, release-record resources, or outside search services. Once you follow a link, the destination's privacy policy controls what happens there. Union County Released Inmates does not set those outside practices.
Some advertising providers may measure activity across multiple websites to select interest-based ads. That tracking takes place through the provider's systems, not through a separate Union County Released Inmates record of your browsing across the internet.
Limited Information Sharing
We do not sell personal information. Data may still be received by a limited group that supports the site or must receive it under law:
- Search partners that process a query you submit
- Analytics providers that measure site use
- Advertising networks that serve or assess ads
- Law enforcement or government bodies acting under a valid legal order
Security Has Limits
Union County Released Inmates uses standard safeguards suited to its operations. No website, network, or internet transmission can be guaranteed fully secure. We therefore cannot promise that stored or transmitted information will never be viewed, altered, lost, or accessed without permission.
Visitors Under Eighteen
This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. A parent or guardian who believes a minor submitted personal data may use the Contacts page to request review and deletion.
Your Privacy Choices
Subject to applicable law and the nature of the information held, you may ask us to take the following steps:
- Provide a copy of personal data we maintain about you
- Correct inaccurate information
- Delete eligible personal data
- Stop or opt out of certain processing where that choice applies
Changes to This Notice
We may revise this privacy notice as services, practices, or legal duties change. A revised version becomes available on this page and will carry a new effective date.
